New Zealand temporary guardrails are temporary safety protection facilities designed and produced in accordance with New Zealand's national standards. They are widely used in construction, public activities, road maintenance and other scenarios. Material characteristics

Hot-dip galvanized steel

The most widely used material usually has a zinc coating thickness of no less than 85 microns, which can effectively resist salt spray corrosion in coastal areas and the humid climate in inland regions. The steel has high strength (tensile strength ≥350MPa), and the crossbars are mostly round pipes with a diameter of 40-50 millimeters. The wall thickness of the columns is 3-4 millimeters, ensuring the stability of the structure.

Aluminum alloy

Suitable for weight-sensitive scenarios (such as roof construction and temporary events), it weighs only one-third of steel, making it convenient for manual handling and quick installation. The surface is treated with powder coating or anodizing, which has strong weather resistance and can be customized into common warning colors in New Zealand (such as orange and yellow) to enhance recognition.

Composite material

In recent years, the material that has gradually been promoted is mainly glass fiber reinforced plastic (FRP), which features strong corrosion resistance and good insulation. It is suitable for special scenarios such as power construction and chemical sites, while avoiding the electrochemical corrosion problem of metal materials.
