Material characteristics

Hot-dip galvanized steel

The most widely used material, through the hot-dip galvanizing process, forms a dense zinc layer, which can effectively resist corrosion in the diverse climates of the United States, such as the rainy south and the cold and snowy north. Steel has high strength. The crossbars are mostly steel pipes with a diameter of 1.5 to 2 inches (about 3.8 to 5.1 centimeters), and the columns are slightly larger in diameter to ensure structural stability.

Aluminum alloy

It is lightweight (about one-third the weight of steel), easy to transport and install quickly, and suitable for temporary events or scenarios with frequent movement (such as concerts and sports events). After anodic oxidation treatment, the surface of aluminum alloy has strong corrosion resistance and can be customized in color (such as yellow warning color), taking into account both functionality and aesthetics.

High-strength plastic

It has a low cost, good toughness, is not prone to rust, and is suitable for short-term light protection (such as community activities and small-scale construction). Polyethylene (PE) or polypropylene (PP) materials are mostly used, and anti-ultraviolet additives are added to prevent aging and cracking caused by long-term outdoor use.

Application scenarios

Construction site: Set up around foundation pits, scaffolding, and high-altitude operation areas to prevent non-construction personnel from entering, in compliance with OSHA's mandatory safety requirements for construction sites.

Public events: In large-scale activities such as concerts, marathons, and exhibitions, it is used to divide areas and guide the flow of people. The lightweight aluminum alloy material can be quickly assembled and dismantled.

Road construction: During highway maintenance and upkeep, it serves as a temporary isolation facility, equipped with reflective strips (in compliance with the FHWA standards of the Federal Highway Administration of the United States) to enhance visibility at night and warn vehicles to give way.
